SAINT-LAURENT, July 26, 2022 — InclusiveDocs, AI-powered document accessibility platform, announced today that they have passed the accessibility audit conducted by David Berman Communications and have been issued a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) to signify their success.
What Is A VPAT?
A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a document that explains how the features and functional characteristics of a software product meet the Revised 508 Standards for IT accessibility. A VPAT helps federal government contracting agencies to accurately assess software products for accessibility when evaluating proposals for government solicitations.
InclusiveDocs has now acquired a formal Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR), derived from VPAT INT 2.4, complying with all the mandatory requirements for such a report (as designated by the U.S. Access Board for Revised Section 508 and thus WCAG 2.0 AA) and by the EU and other jurisdictions (as designated for EN 301 549 and thus WCAG 2.1 AA).
